Ingredients:
Raw
mango sliced

1 cup

Jaggery(see note below)

1/4 -1/2 cup

Turmeric
powder

A pinch

Salt

Method:
- Peel the outer skin of the mango and cut into thin slices.
- Take a vessel,add jaggery and little water and heat till jaggery dissolves fully in water.Filter it using a metal strainer and keep aside.
- Take the sliced mango,turmeric powder,little salt and little water in a vessel and cook till the mango slices are almost cooked but not mushy.
- Now add the strained jaggery water and boil well for 3-5 mins till the mango slices are cooked well.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the ingredients to temper and mix it with the Mango pachadi.
Note:
- Adjust the jaggery quantity depending on the tanginess of the mango used.
- If after adding jaggery water the pachadi is very thin, add 1 tsp rice flour mixed with little water to the pachadi and boil for a minute to thicken it.
- If neem flower is not available skip it.
