Moong Sprouts Salad

Sprouts are a good source of nutrients and rich in fibre,protein and other vitamins.I like Moong sprouts a lot.This salad is so easy to make and it is totally oil free.I have not added any oil for the dressing.Enjoy making this wholesome salad.Check here for "How to make Sprouts".


Moong sprouts salad

Ingredients:


Sprouted Moong dhal
1 cup
Onion chopped finely
1 small
Tomato deseeded and chopped
1
Cucumber chopped
1
Pomegranate seeds
¼ cup
Salt
as needed
Lemon juice
1 tblsp
Freshly ground black pepper
¼ tsp
Cumin seeds
¼ tsp
Coriander leaves chopped
 As needed

Method:
Moong Sprouts Salad

  • Dry roast cumin seeds in a pan and crush them to a powder.
  • Take a bowl ,Add the sprouts and all the chopped vegetables.
  • Add lemon juice,salt,pepper powder and the prepared cumin powder.Toss well and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. 
Note:
  • You can add any vegetable of your choice.
  • Adding Pomegranate gives a nice punch to the salad.you may omit it if you don't prefer.
